Gloucester County uses RSAN to immediately contact its first responders (Fire, Police, Health Depts., etc.) and employees during major crises or emergencies. The Gloucester County RSAN (GC RSAN) can deliver important emergency alerts, notifications and updates to you on all your devices at once:
- e-mail account (work, home, other)
- cell phone
- text pager
- and/or wireless PDA
When an incident or emergency occurs, authorized senders will instantly notify you using the GC RSAN. The GC RSAN is your personal connection to real-time updates, instructions on where to go, what to do, or what not to do, who to contact and other important information.
As an employee of the county or one of its municipalities, you are required to register your work e-mail and all wireless devices issued by the county or your municipality. Personal e-mail and personal devices are optional, as per-message charges may apply, but will not be reimbursed by the county (see FAQs).
